Achievers Awards
Eastbourne Achievers Awards in conjunction with the Herald are once again being held on 26th May 2010 (new date) and tickets are available from SASBAH. The cost is £26 per head which includes a three course dinner.

Rotary Club Family Hog Roast Day
Saturday 5th June
4-9pm Prospect House, Lower Dicker

Eastbourne Funwalk and Funday
On 6th June Eastbourne Rotary Club with the Eastborne Lions are organising an event which they call 'Motorcycles, Meanderers and Mayhem!' This is held on Wester Lawns from 10.30-4.00. If we have enough volunters (hint!) we get a free pitch to fundraise and promote SASBAH. The Rally starts at 11am and the Funwalk at 11.30.
There are 3 Funwalk options:
To the pier and return: 1 1/2 miles
Treasure Island and return 3 miles
Sovereign Park and return 6 miles
10% of sponsorship will go to Eastbourne Rotary but SASBAH will keep the rest and ALL the money raised on the stall. If you would like to either do the Funwalk or help on the stall please contact the SASBAH office.
Golf Day
This year our Golf day is on 14 June from 1pm at Lewes Golf Club. Thank you to Mike and Tony Sandford for organising this event.

Family Support Break
SASBAH Family Support residential Break is booked for the 18th - 20th June 2010.
Bookings now being taken for those that may be interested.
An opportunity to share experiences with other families in similar situations to you and get some mutual support from each other. SASBAH staff will also be on hand to offer any advice or support.
Armed Forces Day Parade
This new event is being held in Egerton Park, Bexhill-on-Sea, on Saturday 26 June. SASBAH has a stall in the park, primarily to raise awareness. It all begins at 10.30am. At 12 noon, there will be a formal parade and drumhead service and the Lord Lieutenant of Sussex will take the salute.

Breakaway
A fun residential break planned for 16th-18th July 2010. Everyone is welcome for more details contact Rom at SASBAH on 01825 873045.
This is a partnership project with Eastbourne AM Rotary Club and SASBAH.
SASBAH Summer BBQ
SASBAH Summer BBQ will be held on Saturday 17th July 2010 at Knowles Tooth Children's Centre in Hurstpierpoint. Everybody welcome between 1pm and 5pm. Drop in and meet other members of SASBAH and have some free food and fun!!!
Pevfest 2010
This will be held in the village of Pevensey Bay on Saturday 24 July, from 1 – 5pm. It is a combination of street events, competitions, stalls and live music in five venues. Stalls will be located in the village centre by the shops, or in the Church Hall if wet and SASBAH has been offered a free stall. We plan to do some fundraising and generate awareness, so let us know if you’d like to join the fun at this busy event.
