The SASBAH Young People's Committee

What is the YPC?
The SASBAH Young People's Committee is a group of young people between the ages of 11-25. The Committee hold regular meetings, events and social activities in Sussex.

What do YPC members do?
- plan information events
- Get involved in decision making
-Take part in consultations on issues affecting other disabled young people
- Plan and take part in training activities
- Organise social activities and residential breaks
- Initiate and take part in projects such as YPC Film
- Shape services which benefit other young people

What are the benefits of joining?
- Meet new people and make new friends
- New individual opportunities and experiences
- Gain new skills
- Help make a difference to the lives of others
- You have a say on important issues and the development and future of SASBAH and its services
- Can help you to become more independant and increase in confidence

SASBAH YPC Film

Over the past year the YPC in collaboration with Khouse Media, a Brighton based film production company have been making a documentary style film about the committee.
